Your implant consultation will last approximately 60 minutes and will include:
- A full oral health examination.
- Any necessary x-rays that you may require (but not a 3D CT scan, as this will only be taken as and when required).
- A treatment planning session with the implant surgeon.
- A digital 3D oral scan is taken or scheduled – no gooey impressions are necessary.
- A smile design session on our Trios software allows you to see how you look with a different smile or tooth position, if appropriate.
Free Implant Consultations
Your free dental implant consultation is a 30 to 60-minute consultation in our non-clinical suite in the practice with our implant treatment coordinator. We find our patients enjoy getting a tour and meeting some of the team to help you feel more at home within our friendly clinic before finding out all about dental implants, the options available to you, and their associated costs over some refreshments. This enables you to gather all the information you need to help you decide if implants are right for you, completely free of charge and with no obligation to go ahead with any treatment!
Comprehensive Dental Check-up + EMS AIRFLOW Hygiene
(This is perfect for patients who are due a check up but also would benefit from hygiene treatment also. In this detailed 60 minute appointment we will collect all the information we need to start profiling your risk for dental diseases to tailor your care, including medical, social, lifestyle and stress history, oral cancer screening outside and in your mouth, assess your neck, jaw joint and muscles, lips, all structures within your mouth for any abnormalities or concerns. Plus, professional advice and thorough assessments for hard tissue dental diseases like decay and tooth wear, cracks, broken or defective fillings, hypersensitivity, basic periodontal examination which is a screening tool for gum disease, tailored dental care advice, up to 2 small x-rays if clinically required and the reports of those x-rays, EMS Airflow hygiene treatment utilising warm water air and powder to remove all biofilm and surface stains, and a heated ultrasonic scaler with a pain free modulator to remove harder deposits and calcified stain which you cannot brush off. And a dental care estimate of any treatment or preventative care that would be suitable for your needs, especially to reduce the risk of more costly treatment in the future)

It’s safe to use all over teeth, soft tissues and any restoration, removes bacteria above and below the gumline, and yet feels super comfortable! IV Conscious Sedation with Anaesthetist organised on your behalf
(This induces a state of deep relaxation and calmness by administering sedative medication directly into the bloodstream. You have a dedicated anesthetist who we have worked with for many years who continuously monitors you throughout the appointment. It is used for both anxiety control and pain management, though its primary function is to eliminate fear and anxiety, while acting in conjunction with local anesthetic for pain relief. There is an amnesia effect where most patients remember little to nothing about the procedure. Advanced GBT High Risk Periodontal, Implant or mixed Maintenance Appointments
(These appointments are 45-60 minutes and ideal for patients with generalised moderate to advanced periodontal / peri implant disease, every season to intensely cleanse all areas including soft tissues, teeth and/or implants and/or other prostheses such as dentures in a comfortable way utilising the GBT protocol, prophylactically removing biofilm above and below the gum line, often in complex areas in natural teeth such as where gum shrinkage has occurred, deep between exposed multi rooted areas of periodontal pocketing and/or long implant abutment areas or maintaining complex areas around advanced implant restorations. Keeping the disease activity closely monitored with comprehensive periodontal or implant assessments, inflammation activity indices, radiographs when needed are inclusive of the fee. Periodontal Maintenance Plan – 60mins every season, at £66 per month interest free, saving £48 per year + never have to pay for X-rays or reports.
This plan is perfect for those who have any periodontal disease and want to receive the top level of care and maintenance for their teeth and gums but with a discount! It includes everything we do in our advanced high risk maintenance appointments bespoke to your needs utilising EMS GBT with airflow and heated water and pain free module are amongst some of the things that make it so much more comfortable than the old fashioned hygiene appointments yet is far more thorough. This is exceptional care and maintenance for your whole mouth, helping feel fresh and in control of your periodontal disease.
Implant Maintenance Plan – 60 mins every season, at £62 per month, saving £96 per year + never have to pay for X-rays or reports.
We formulated this special care plan membership for our implant patients, but we are happy to assess and maintain patients who have had implants placed elsewhere in the past. The plan includes everything in our advanced higher risk implant maintenance appointments. Patients can use this plan to give their implants the best chance of long term survival and function and keep them looking and feeling their best. If you have had periodontal disease, are prone to gum disease due to a hereditary link, smoking, uncontrolled diabetes etc then you will be at a higher risk of getting gum disease (peri implant disease) affecting your implants. The only effective way to avoid peri implant disease is regular seasonal prophylactic hygiene appointments where we can also tailor bespoke professional advice and care for your particular implant/restoration.
Periodontal Assessment
(60 minutes, inclusive of any X-rays required and Comprehensive Periodontal Assessment and treatment planning. You may then require a series of shorter cheaper appointments to optimise your home care dental routine, make an impact of the risk factors that may affect you, and resolve surface inflammation as much as possible before being ready to start the active treatment of the periodontal pockets that are inaccessible to brushes etc)

Non Surgical Periodontal Therapy
(60 minutes, inclusive of any numbing, active treatment of periodontal pockets, utilising EMS heated advanced equipment for periodontal treatment to thoroughly remove biofilm and harder deposits from periodontal pockets, in order for these areas to have a chance to become inactive, halting bone loss, and preserving tooth tissue stability long term.
